This was in fact my father's favourite spot.
Any bench in a quiet corner in a garden, where you could contemplate life around you, instead of thinking about it.
He also painted, amateur, but then his garden became his canvas which was a tribute to any impressionist scene through my eyes. Monet always comes to mind, though I m sure he was fonder of Constable, Turner...
Nature is truly our way of 'being' if we just take the time.
