yes, maybe its unfinished nature only helps. this is one of those (few?) paintings when you scroll down the image from the very top just incrementally, one slight notch at a time, the beginning ooohhh of the beautiful lavender and green depth doesn't soon disappoint: the viewer is amply rewarded throughout. Very nice compositionally, color, and figures gesture-wise.
