The passion of the Spanish flamenco, the 'Deunde' is more powerful than the lighthearted energy of Zarzuela, - the Spanish Lyric dramatic performance -which I feel this work is closer to; it's a more joyful, 'stage' entertainment, similar to an Operetta-like show, and it's this feeling & movement I wanted to catch here... I will keep coming back to this theme... it fascinates me.
