LIZZY FORRESTER'S FINE ART STORE Lizzy FORRESTER is Deborah McNeill's artist name. Based in the Balearic Islands - known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean, the artist spends much of her time travelling each year, to exhibit world wide. 2018 she exhibited in 2 trips to China, with a solo exhibition as well as the Beijing International Art Fair, Madrid, New York, Tokyo, Guangzhou and Dubai. I don't know; I like it just the way it is. Lizzy will know what to do. :)

... maybe just a tad darker blue line/shadow directly inside/underneath the right gunwale of the central skiff? Mmmmm. I don't know. B/c the brilliant reds just on either side of the central skiff are really what hold the eye, and the skiff is secondary to those, so on second thought perhaps the boat is optimum as is. It's probably optimum as is. I don't think you can improve it. I think it would ruin it.

Wonderful. This is the longest I've looked at any of Lizzy's work (30 minutes +). I've tried cropping the top edge, or the bottom edge. If I were to change anything, I don't know what it would be. The central, more detailed skiff and rich, red textures adjacent down to the water's edge successfully redeem, imo, the painting from perhaps otherwise mediocrity. Maybe the central skiff needs a tad more detail?

I like the composition and colors of this quite a lot. Maybe more care in the curtains would finish it. Really beautiful. Do you paint on location or in the studio?
